Funding Alert Service
The Funding Alert Service provides a quick and easy way to find out which potential funding sources are active and open to approaches from Third Sector groups.
It saves hours of painstaking searching, and enables you to get to the funds you need faster, focusing your attention on putting together high class applications.
Our current subscribers have reported gaining a total of £500,000 in new funding as a result of having informed choices being provided by the service.
We are pleased to announce that the service has been further improved – with a new section on how organisations have been successful in obtaining funding.
We will regularly feature a group which has received grant funding; setting out the type of organisation they are, type of project funded and what made the bid successful.
Over time we will cover both large and small organisations, and a variety of different grant and income successes.
We hope to promote wider sharing of information and to improve the quality of bids from the County.
We will also be working with colleagues from surrounding areas (Milton Keynes, Fenland and South Leicestershire) to exchange information with them as well.
Typically each issue of Alert presents information in a number of sections as below:-
Recent details of Trusts and Foundations
Latest Lottery information
Government sources of funding
European sources
Other available funding streams
A News section
Forthcoming events
A regular slot on fundraising techniques - types of successful events, communication skills for bid writing, etc.
